Great post! Paradigms shape our healing journey. Shifting from viewing symptoms as enemies to recognizing them as signs of healing can transform our approach to health. Embracing a new health paradigm means seeing bacteria and viruses not as threats, but as allies in our healing journey. What if our symptoms were actually signs of recovery?

I agree. Great to be educated of additives/chemicals etc in our food supply/environment and follow a quality wholefood diet and outdoor lifestyle but not to the point of obsession and fear, but trust in the Lord and live in the comfort of His care and gratefully and graciously receive His radient joy! That's now my paradigm/mindset goal 😉

Psalms 34:5 NLT(a)

[5] Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy.

I'm having arthritis flare-ups in joints similar to my family members, past and present. Any suggestions on how to cope and move through this to a more healthy place?

Coming from the more ‘traditional’ healthcare training, but always with a core belief ‘our bodies are our temples’ your detailed sharing really spoke to so many of the things I have tried to practice myself or teach my patients over the years. But, living in the western world it’s difficult to get the messages you’re sharing to gain a strong foothold more broadly. Thank you for taking the time to articulate all of this. Great reminders and new perspectives for me as well! 🙏💕

Extremely well written, concise, and insightful! All paradigms of heath have some level of usefulness to various degrees but I am greatly intrigued by your present perspective with emphasis on German New Medicine(which was previously unknown to me)My health journey has been challenging to say the least and everything you said in this article resonates as wisdom and truth to me. Thank you so much for your time and efforts to share your insights and wisdom . They have been most useful and encouraging to me. I feel God has used you to further my healing.May God continue to bless others through you.

Thank you for your courage in sharing your paradigm with us, Megan. I maybe mentioned with your last post that I am on a similar track and the recent discovery of German New Medicine for me has been incredibly helpful and resonant with some dormant part of me that knew something different than the paradigms I was practicing within were untrue, incomplete, or at least missing something that I couldn't articulate. I have much to learn and appreciate your perspective here.

We were talking this morning in men’s Bible study about the potential for sanctification of a sickness or disease. There’s a prayer that includes “…that the sense of one’s weakness may add strength and seriousness…”.

That depth of acceptance is elusive. Thank you for this post, Megan.

Very thought provoking! I’m curious, do you have a nutrition approach? What does your diet generally look like? All of the noise around food and nutrition can be so confusing!

Agreed! So much noise and differing opinions. I keep it simple: pretty much organic, real whole food, eaten in a slow and aware state. I eat more or less of whatever I feel I need in whatever season I'm in. In general though, I do a more traditional, Weston A. Price ish style, but don't subscribe to any 'one' approach. I think how you eat and what you think about what you eat matters more than what you actually eat :)
